بسط و گسترش و تحکیم روابط بازرگانی، صنعتی، معدنی و کشاورزی با دنیای خارج مستلزم گسترش روابط بین المللی با سایر کشورها و سازمانهای بین المللی است . این وظیفه در اتاق ایران بر عهده معاونت امور بین الملل و در قالب: اداره کل آسیا و اقیانوسیه، اداره کل اروپا و آمریکا، اداره کل آفریقا و عربی، دبیرخانه اتاق ها و شوراهای مشترک و سازمانهای بین المللی و همچنین امور نمایشگاهی انجام می پذیرد.

• صدور معرفی نامه تسهیل اخذ روادید سایر کشورها
• معرفی توانمندی های صادراتی و مزیت های تجاری و صنعتی کشور
• برگزاری و شرکت در سمینارهای تجاری و اجلاس های سازمانهای تخصصی
• اطلاع رسانی بموقع مناقصه ها، فرصت های تجاری و سرمایه گذاری و ...
• تهیه و تنظیم گزارش های توجیهی کشوری
• تهیه، تنظیم و امضاء تفاهم نامه ها، موافقت نامه ها و پروتکل های تجاری با اتاقهای بازرگانی سایر کشورها
• تعامل با نمایندگی های جمهوری اسلامی ایران در سایر کشورها و همچنین سفارتخانه های خارجی در جهت بسط و توسعه روابط تجاری

In the arena of globalization and increased trade relations, Deputy of International Affairs of ICCIM plays a key role in networking and capacity building programs for the businesses seeking to enter international markets.
Acting as a bridge between Iranian and foreign business communities, Deputy of International Affairs organizes many events and applies many tools to assist entrepreneurs' integration with global markets. Exchanging trade delegations and coordinating business match making sessions, organizing national and international exhibitions, establishment of trade centers in target markets along with joint economic chambers & councils with other countries, providing policy advocacy services, conducting market research studies and organizing capacity building workshops and seminars for Iranian business community
particularly SMEs, business women and young entrepreneurs for the purpose of strengthening their export readiness are some of those powerful tools and services which have always been in the mandate of the Deputy in collaboration with worldwide network of chambers of commerce, business support institutes and other specialized organizations.
For the efficient implementation of the abovementioned programs and activities,
Deputy of International Affairs Department of ICCIM is divided into three
specialized subdivisions (Directorate General) based upon its assigned duties
and responsibilities as follows:

2. Multilateral Trade Relations Directorate General

1. Bilateral Trade Relations Directorate General
As its name implies, the Directorate General for Bilateral Trade Relations is responsible for providing appropriate grounds for the expansion and consolidation of trade and investment exchanges between the Iranian and foreign businessmen. By enjoying liable experts, the office renders updated economic information of other countries for the implementation of economic activists. In this line, main responsibilities and objectives of the directorate general for bilateral trade relations are as follows:
• Dispatching and receiving trade delegations for the purpose of consolidating and expanding international trade relations of Iranian businessmen with foreign countries.
• Disseminating international trade & investment opportunities as well as other
relevant events to the respective members or affiliated trade foundations, associations, unions etc., in order toexp and the presence of domestic companies in global markets.
• Collecting & compiling information of Iranian businessmen for the purpose of disseminating & expanding export volume to the target countries.
• Facilitating issuing visa for Iranian businessmen through issuing recommendation
letter and introducing them to foreign diplomatic missions located in Tehran.
• Organizing Countries’ Economy Day at Iran Chamber of Commerce for the purpose of familiarizing businesspeople with trade and investment regulations and rules of other countries.
• Keeping constant and regular contacts with counterpart chambers of commerce in order to exchange information of mutual interest on economy, foreign trade, trade rules and regulations, investment & customs between the two countries.
• Identifying trade barriers and restrictions in the way of expanding trade relations of private sector businesspeople with target countries & endeavoring for the settlement of disputes arise between two sides through referring to the arbitration center of Iran Chamber and respective state bodies as well as taking appropriate measures for their eliminations.
• Participating actively at the joint economic cooperation commissions with other countries in order to enhance bilateral trade ties
• Formulating Agreements, MOUs and trade protocols with counterpart chambers of commerce and regular pursuance for their implementations
• Providing country reports, compiling trade and economic statisticsof other countries along with endeavoring for the collection of export guide.
2. Multilateral Trade Relations Directorate General
Development of interaction between ICCIM and transnational organizations for promoting business networking and strengthening capabilities of Iranian private sector especially SMEs has been one of the main strategies that ICCIM pursued during recent years.
Benefiting from high qualified personnel, Multilateral Trade Relations Division could offer various helpful services such as capacity building programs for target groups especially SMEs, business women and young entrepreneurs, international networking, e-commerce, and marketing tools in the regional and international framework. These services in the form of short term activities and long term programs could result in higher position for ICCIM
and its members in the arena of international trade and globalization.
According to the annual action plan of ICCIM the Multilateral Trade Relation Division would undertake the following main programs based on ICCIM strategies:
• Interaction with regional and trans-regional organizations such as Asia-pacific
Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI), G15 Federation of Chambers of
Commerce, Industry and Services (G15-FCCIS), Indian Ocean Rim Association for
Regional Cooperation (IOR-ARC), ECO Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECO-CCI), Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Eurochambres and etc.;
• Interaction with World Chambers Federation (WCF);
• Cooperation with the government in the process of accession to World Trade Organization (WTO);
• Active participation in prestigious international economic forums Such as World
Economic Forum (WEF) and Crans Montana Forum;
• Interaction with national and transnational institutions active in the field of business support development Such as Asian Productivity Organization (APO), Colombo Plan, Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME), UNCTAD and other United Nation’s specialized agencies, IT and etc.;
• Interaction with government and ICCIM specialized commissions on promotion of preferential trade agreements;
• Developing the activities of the secretariat of D8 Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (D8 FCCI);
• Supporting business women and young entrepreneurs Group to promote their commercial achievements;
• Organizing training workshops in cooperation with international organizations.
3. International Trade Services Directorate General
International Trade Services Directorate General is one of the bureaus of International Affairs Department of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines which is actively seeking to develop and reinforce foreign trade of the private sector based on cooperation and knowledge in line with major objectives of the Chamber to get more shares in the target markets through constructive interactions with relevant foreign parties through the following ways:
• Organization of exhibitions in Iran
• Organization of the exhibition on capabilities of members of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines abroad (specialized, pavilion, informative stand)
• Establishing trade centers and offices in target countries for the presence of
Iran private sector in the international market
• Foundation of ties with the Iranian trade associations abroad in order to attract them to participate in the Iranian projects
• Introduction of capacities of business support institutions and associations affiliated to ICCIM to the relevant foreign parties
• Follow- up of the affairs related to the joint chambers and councils (secretariat)
